"Older women… so train the young women…" (Titus 2:3-4)
Every Thursday night our women gather together at the church building to encourage each other in the faith with Word of God. This weekly Bible Study is usually led by one of our pastor's wives and occasionally by a visiting Bible teachers. Usually, the ladies will go verse-by-verse through a book of the Bible, but occasionally they will do a topical study. Regardless of where they are in the text, they will always be in the Bible together. All women, younger and older, are welcome to join us (childcare is ALWAYS provided).
"Charm is deceitful, and beauty is vain,
but a woman who fears the LORD is to be praised."
We take these words to heart as our model for Women's Ministry…
"But as for you, teach what accords with sound doctrine… Older women likewise are to be reverent in behavior, not slanderers or slaves to much wine. They are to teach what is good, and so train the young women to love their husbands and children, to be self-controlled, pure, working at home, kind, and submissive to their own husbands, that the word of God may not be reviled." (Titus 2:1, 3-5)
